Common use of Operational Deadheads Clause in Contracts

Operational Deadheads. In individual cases of operational necessity and with the approval of the System Chief Pilot, a Regional Chief Pilot or the Duty Officer, a pilot may be scheduled to deadhead on a Company aircraft, chartered jet carrier, Company corporate business jet aircraft or on a scheduled U.S. certificated air carrier operating under FAR Part 135. The SIG shall be advised of the reasons for this action within 5 days of occurrence.
