Common use of Operator Services Calls Clause in Contracts

Operator Services Calls. GTE OS provided to NEN end-users shall be provided in the same manner GTE OS are provided to GTE end-users. In accordance with GTE practices and at GTE rates, GTE will offer to NEN end-users collect, person-to-person, station-to-station calling, third-party billing, emergency call assistance, calling card services, credit for calls, time and charges, notification of the length of call, and real time rating. GTE operators shall also have the ability to quote NEN rates upon request but only if there is appropriate cost recovery to GTE and to the extent it can be provided within the technical limitations of GTE's switches. GTE will provide its existing services to NEN end-users consistent with the service GTE provides to its own end-users.

In accordance with GTE practices and at GTE rates, GTE will offer to NEN Pathnet end-users collect, person-to-person, station-to-station calling, third-party billing, emergency call assistance, calling card services, credit for calls, time and charges, notification of the length of call, and real time rating. GTE operators shall also have the ability to quote NEN Pathnet rates upon request but only if there is appropriate cost recovery to GTE and to the extent it can be provided within the technical limitations of GTE's switches. GTE will provide its existing services to NEN Pathnet end-users consistent with the service GTE provides to its own end-users.
