Common use of Operator’s Equipment Clause in Contracts

Operator’s Equipment.  Certain equipment necessary in the conduct of an operator’s work, including badge, punch, rulebook, and working flashlight will be furnished by the Company. Operators must sign a receipt for all equipment furnished by the Company. Operators must safeguard such equipment, and if any is lost or damaged beyond use, operators must make immediate application for replacement, at their expense, unless such damage is the result of unusual circumstances during the performance of their duties. Operators must turn in all equipment to the Company upon termination of service or demand.
