Common use of OSHA AND WISHA REQUIREMENTS Clause in Contracts

OSHA AND WISHA REQUIREMENTS. Contractor agrees to comply with conditions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and, if manufactured or stored in the State of Washington, the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA) and the standards and regulations issued there under, and certifies that all items furnished and purchased will conform to and comply with said laws, standards and regulations. Contractor further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MCC and Purchaser from all damages assessed against Purchaser as a result of Contractor’s failure to comply with those laws, standards and regulations, and for the failure of the items furnished under the Contract to so comply.

Contractor further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MCC and Purchaser from all damages assessed against Purchaser as a result of Contractor’s failure to comply with those laws, standards and regulations, and for the failure of the items furnished under the Contract Ordering Agreement to so comply.
