Ambulance Escort Where a nurse is assigned to provide patient care for a patient in transit, the following provisions shall apply:
Fleet In general, any in-house mechanic may be assigned to respond to any emergency during normal working hours in any of the three operating companies. (This does not supersede the Mechanic Personnel Working Across 309 Jurisdictional Boundaries Agreement dated October 4, 2007). Example 1: Lincoln (CILCO) unit breaks down in the northern part of its territory. It would make sense for the Bloomington (rp) mechanic to respond to the service call. Lincoln staffs a 2nd shift mechanic only and the vehicle in need of repair is closer to the Bloomington garage. This example covers areas that both have Ameren in-house mechanics. Example 2: Any CIPS 702 units could be repaired by Ameren staffed mechanics in 702 territories. This would generally happen in areas that are in close proximity to an IP or CILCO garage. This example covers 702 CIPS areas that do not have Ameren in-house mechanics. These jobs currently are outsourced. Perform Preventive Maintenance on CIPS 702 equipment at individual operating centers where advantageous. This work is currently outsourced. It is not the company’s intent to perform all PM’s with in-house mechanics.
Fares The employer shall arrange and pay for economy air fare or economy rail fare except when overnight rail travel is involved when a first class sleeping berth shall be provided.
Ambulance The deductible and coinsurance for services not subject to copays applies.
Special Services Should the Trust have occasion to request the Adviser to perform services not herein contemplated or to request the Adviser to arrange for the services of others, the Adviser will act for the Trust on behalf of the Fund upon request to the best of its ability, with compensation for the Adviser's services to be agreed upon with respect to each such occasion as it arises.
First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.
First Aid Attendant Employees who take time off at the direction of the Employer to take a recognized Industrial First Aid Program shall not suffer a loss of regular pay.
Private Aircraft Mileage When an employee is authorized by his/her department, reimbursement for the use of the employee’s privately owned aircraft on State business shall be made at the rate of 50 cents per statute mile. Pilot qualifications and insurance requirements will be maintained in accordance with DPA rule 599.628.1 and the State Office of Risk and Insurance Management.
Ambulance Services Ground Ambulance This plan covers local professional or municipal ground ambulance services when it is medically necessary to use these services, rather than any other form of transportation as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-55. Examples include but are not limited to the following: • from a hospital to a home, a skilled nursing facility, or a rehabilitation facility after being discharged as an inpatient; • to the closest available hospital emergency room in an emergency situation; or • from a physician’s office to an emergency room. Our allowance for ground ambulance includes the services rendered by an emergency medical technician or paramedic, as well as any drugs, supplies and cardiac monitoring provided. Air and Water Ambulance This plan covers air and water ambulance services when: • the time needed to move a patient by land, or the instability of transportation by land, may threaten a patient’s condition or survival; or • if the proper equipment needed to treat the patient is not available from a ground ambulance. The patient must be transported to the nearest facility where the required services can be performed and the type of physician needed to treat the patient’s condition is available.
