Common use of Out of Scope Relieving Rate Clause in Contracts

Out of Scope Relieving Rate. An employee assigned to temporarily relieve in a position which is out of the scope of this Agreement, for a period of one (1) day or more shall receive one ($1.00) dollar per hour in addition to their hourly rate of pay. In the event of an employee's rendering temporary service in a classification in which the rate is lower than has been received by them, their regular rate shall not be reduced. Relief premiums noted above are not paid for the Manager’s regular days off.
