Outside Assignments. Any bargaining unit member assigned to a non-bargaining unit position on a temporary basis shall remain in the bargaining unit until such time as he/she is not filling the position on a temporary basis.

This traveling time pay shall not exceed eight (8) hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period. If the job is a distance of 400 or more kilometers from Toronto City Hall, and last for more than one (1) month, the employee shall be entitled to return home once per month, and shall be paid for the travel expense in accordance with article 19.02 and 19.03 above.

When an outside assignment is for the San Marino Unified School District, the rate shall be $45 per hour, or their current (FLSA) wage, whichever is greater for officers and $55 per hour, or their current (FLSA) wage, whichever is greater, for Sergeants.
