Shift Turnover. Employees who relieve another will assure sufficient discussion occurs between the counterparts of the shift that is coming off duty and the one that is coming on duty to ensure that the shift is being turned over as safely and efficiently as possible.
Shift Turnover. Employees required to perform a shift turnover will be paid two (2) times the straight-time hourly rate for each fifteen (15) minute shift turnover completed. The Union recognizes that the Company has sole discretion in determining whether a shift turnover is required for any particular employee(s).
Shift Turnover. 31.6.1 A shift turnover allowance will be paid to employees who have been authorized to perform shift turnovers, based on the criteria in Sections 31.6.2 and 31.6.3 and in compliance with the chart below.
31.6.2 Only one person will be paid for each shift turnover, either the incoming or the outgoing shift, but not both.
31.6.3 Rights to overtime are waived in favour of the above allowance when performing normal shift turnovers. The exception to this is in cases where the turnover is 30 minutes or longer due to unusual circumstances. In such cases all time beyond normal working hours will be compensated according to the overtime provisions of this Agreement in place of the allowance.

For purposes of this Agreement, the Employermaintains the sole and exclusive right to adjust the attached schedule or length of rotation where it deems necessary. It is understood that such changes will be subject to the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement and done through prior consultation with the Union.
Shift Turnover. Employees who are required to perform and do perform shift turnover will be compensated a premium of two tenths of (1) hour at 1.5 times their base hourly rate prior to the beginning of their work shift for performing shift turnover.
