Outside Mediator. If a mediator is appointed pursuant to the Procedures in Appendix B, the mediator must meet the following qualifications: a) demonstrated experience as a mediator in human rights/harassment grievances/complaints; b) recognized neutrality in dealing with parties to a grievance/complaint; c) knowledge of OH&S harassment legislation and human rights law; d) knowledge and sensitivity to the issues of harassment including the consequences to harassment victims.
