PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION. 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Employer and the Union. It provides means for the settlement of grievances and for the final settlement of disputes. Salaries, hours of work and other conditions of employment are established by mutual agreement. It is recognized that nurses wish to work co-operatively with the Employer to provide the best possible community health services. 1.02 The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for all registered and graduate nurses employed by the Employer in the Region of Waterloo Public Health, save and except Managers/Facilitators and persons above this classification. 1.03 All references to officers, representatives and committee members of the Union in this Agreement shall be deemed to mean officers, representatives and committee members of the Union's duly chartered bargaining unit, namely: Local #015 - Ontario Nurses' Association. 1.04 Whenever the feminine pronoun is used in this Agreement, it includes the masculine pronoun, where the context so requires and vice-versa. PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION. 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain collective bargaining relations between the Company and the Union, to provide procedures for the timely and equitable resolution of complaints and grievances and to establish wages, hours of work, and other working conditions for bargaining unit employees, as outlined in this Agreement. 1.02 The Company recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining agent of all employees of Loblaw’s Distribution Centre Ajax in the Town of Ajax, ON, save and except supervisors, those above the rank of supervisor, office, sales, auditors and quality control. 1.03 The Company will communicate at all times necessary with the Union, for the purpose of resolving any disputes which may arise regarding wages, hours of work, and working conditions. 1.04 If any provincial or federal legislation, court decision or government regulation invalidates any section of this Agreement, all other sections not invalidated will remain in full force and effect. The Company and Union will meet within thirty (30) days of the invalidation, to negotiate new contract language to replace the section(s) invalidated. 1.05 The Company will not enter into any other agreement or contract with its employees, individually or collectively, which in any way conflicts with the terms and provisions of this Agreement.
PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION. The Board of Education of the Niles Community Schools (hereinafter the "Employer" or "Board" or "District") recognizes the Niles District Education Association, MEA/NEA (hereinafter the "Association") as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for all certified personnel employed by the Board, under individual contracts, and on leave; (hereinafter "Bargaining Unit Member(s)"; excluding superintendent, assistant superintendent, principals, assistant principals, business manager, other administrators, supervisors within the meaning of PERA, and substitute teachers. The Employer agrees not to negotiate with any teachers’ organization other than the Association for the duration of this Agreement, except as may be required by law.

To this end: a) The Company agrees to instruct its supervisory and management staff and will adhere to and enforce this Agreement. b) The Union agrees to instruct its officers, stewards and members to co-operate with the Company in carrying out the terms and requirements for the Agreement and to fulfil their responsibilities as Flight Attendants of the Company. 1.05 The word Flight Attendant(s) as used in this Agreement and in accordance with Article 1.06 means any Flight Attendant employed by the Company at all locations. 1.06 The Company recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all Flight Attendants employed by the Company, excluding the Manager of Flight Attendants, Assistant Flight Attendant Manager, In-Flight Supervisors and any other(s) at or above the rank of these positions in accordance with the certification issued by the Canada Industrial Relations Board under the provisions of the Canada Labour Code unless directed otherwise by the Board from time to time. The Company will recognize Union representatives appointed or elected by the Union to represent employees and matters associated with the administration of this Agreement and related responsibilities. The Company agrees to acquaint new Flight Attendants with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union security and dues check off.
