Common use of Over Maximum Clause in Contracts

Over Maximum. An Employee whose salary is above the highest Step in her pay Grade, will be administered as over-maximum. Such Employees will not be eligible for any salary increases until their salary is less than or equal to the highest basic rate of pay in the pay Grade.

Over Maximum. An Employee employee whose salary is above the highest Step in her her/his pay Grade, grade will be administered as over-over- maximum. Such Employees employee will not be eligible for any salary increases until their the maximum salary is less than or equal to the highest basic rate of pay in the pay Gradegrade exceeds the employee’s salary. In any case, any salary increase shall be limited such that the employee’s salary does not exceed the maximum salary in the employee’s pay grade.
