Over Temperature Protection. The rectifier shall employ over temperature protection for both ambient over temperature and internal thermal temperature to protect the rectifier. The rectifier shall shut down under over temperature condition and recover after certain period after the over temperature condition is removed. The OTP circuit shall incorporate built in hysteresis such that the power supply does not oscillate on and off due to temperature recovering condition. The OTP event shall be reported as a fault condition.
Over Temperature Protection. 6.9.1. The test shall be conducted in accordance with Annex 8I to this Regulation.
