OVERHEAD CONDUCTORS. Item 47 (a) Furnish and install overhead conductors to maintain a permanent installation or emergency service where the feeders shall not be larger than #6 AWG. (b) Furnish and install overhead conductors including secondary wire racks assemblies for permanent installation. Feeder shall not be larger than #2 AWG. The Contractor shall furnish and install overhead electrical conductors and labor and material necessary for the installation as directed. It shall also furnish the material for and make any required splices. All splices and other necessary connections are to be performed under this item. If a Contractor is ordered by the Director or designee to install overhead conductors in order to make emergency (temporary), repairs pending permanent repairs, the Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance or replacement of overhead conductors, without additional compensation. Contractor will be responsible for securing the necessary SLO's, permitting permanent repairs, once emergency repairs are completed. Payment is to be on a per linear foot basis, based on duplex or triplex cable, not individual wire in the cable. If individual cables are used instead of duplex or triplex , Contractor shall color code individual cable every five (5) feet.

4.80.1 The Contractor shall provide all labor and material to install the overhead electrical conductors as directed by the EIU. The Contractor shall furnish and install overhead electrical conductors and labor and material necessary for the installation as directed. It shall also furnish the material for and make any required splices. All splices and other necessary connections are to be performed under this item. If a the Contractor is ordered by the Director or designee EIU to install overhead conductors in order to make emergency (temporary), ) repairs pending permanent repairs, the Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance or replacement of overhead conductors, conductors without additional compensation.
