Overnight Stay. If the engagement involves an overnight stay and suitable accommodation is not provided by the Company, or if the time of return to the musician’s normal centre of engagement as defined in Clause 8(b) below is after 2am, a payment of £70.00 for bed and breakfast shall be made plus the supplement of £25.00 when the engagement is within the area bounded by the M25 motorway. For the purposes of this clause, ‘suitable accommodation’ shall be defined as three-star or equivalent grade hotel as available with full breakfast and single room accommodation as available and if required by the musician. Where a musician is able to prove that he/she has travelled to an engagement by rail and has been unable to return to his/her normal centre of engagement by 2am and where that musician is also able to prove that s/he has paid for overnight accommodation, then the overnight stay payment as defined above shall be made.
Overnight Stay. If the engagement involves an overnight stay and suitable accommodation is not provided by the engager, or if the time of return to the musician’s normal centre of employment as defined in Clause 8(b) below is after 2am, a payment of £63.10 for bed and breakfast shall be made, plus a supplement of £20.30 when the engagement is within the area bounded by the M25 motorway. For the purposes of this clause, “suitable accommodation” shall be defined as three- star or equivalent grade hotel, as available, with full breakfast, and single room accommodation as available and if required by the musician.
Overnight Stay. If the engagement involves an overnight stay and suitable accommodation is not provided by the engager, arrangements must be made by prior agreement with the musician to pay for their reasonable overnight costs. If the musician is able to return to their recognised centre of employment but their return is between midnight and 2am, the following additional one-off payments shall be made by the engager: • Return between midnight and 12.30am £4.95 • Return between 12.30am and 1.00am £9.85 • Return between 1.00am and 2.00am £14.80 'Time of return' is defined with reference to the musician's time of departure from the rehearsal or concert venue, the distance to be travelled to the musician's normal centre of employment, and an average speed of travel of 50mph. The time of departure is deemed to be fifteen minutes after the finishing time of the concert or rehearsal, as defined in Clause 2 above.
Overnight Stay. Where an overnight stay is scheduled, the Company shall where possible source and provide the Musician with overnight accommodation of not less than three-star or equivalent grade, with breakfast, in single room accommodation as available and if required by the Musician. Such accommodation shall be within easy reach of the performance venue. In the event that such suitable accommodation is unavailable, the Company shall provide transfer transport to the nearest suitable hotel.
(i) If an option is available for a Musician to choose to opt-out of the accommodation provided by the Company, they will receive a reimbursement of the actual cost of their accommodation upon production of a receipt. This will be up to a maximum of the cost of the hotel accommodation provided by the Company.
(ii) If an option is available for a Musician to choose to opt-out of the accommodation provided by the Company and chooses to stay with friends/family, or stays at an alternative hotel and cannot provide a receipt, a sum of £20.00 will be paid.
(iii) For the avoidance of doubt, if two Musicians choose to share a room in the hotel provided by the Company, it is assumed that one Musician has opted to stay with friends / family, and, as such a sum of £20.00 will be paid as outlined in 2.4(ii), to be divided equally between the two Musicians. An overnight stay will always be provided where, otherwise, travel by land would exceed 250 miles or return to the London Coliseum would be after 2:00am.

For the purposes of this clause, 'suitable accommodation' shall be defined as three-star or equivalent grade hotel, as available, with full breakfast, and single room accommodation as available and if required by the musician. Where a musician is booked within 21 days of an engagement and the cost of suitable accommodation exceeds the overnight allowance, the engager shall cover any reasonable additional accommodation costs. Any additional payment will be subject to prior agreement between the musician and the engager. Where a musician is able to prove that s/he has travelled to an engagement by rail and has been unable to return to his/her normal centre of employment by 2am, and where that musician is also able to prove that s/he has paid for overnight accommodation, then the overnight stay payment, as defined above, shall be made.
Overnight Stay. If the engagement involves an overnight stay in Northern Ireland and accommodation is not provided by the Society, or if the time of return to the musician’s normal centre of employment as defined in Clause 9 below is after 2am, a payment of £63.10 for bed and breakfast shall be made. Musicians based outside Northern Ireland who are required to stay in Northern Ireland for more than one night will receive an additional touring allowance of £21.50 from the second night and for each subsequent night of the engagement. Where a musician is able to prove that he/she has travelled to an engagement by rail and has been unable to return to his/her normal centre of employment by 2am and where that musician is also able to prove that s/he has paid for overnight accommodation, then the overnight stay payment as defined above shall be made.
Overnight Stay. If the engagement involves an overnight stay and suitable accommodation is not provided by the engager, or if the time of return to the musician's normal centre of employment as defined in Clause 7(b) below is after 2am, a payment of £70.00 for bed and breakfast shall be made, plus a supplement of £25.00 when the engagement is within the area bounded by the M25 motorway. For the purposes of this clause, 'suitable accommodation' shall be defined as three-star or equivalent grade hotel, as available, with full breakfast, and single room accommodation as available and if required by the musician. Where a musician is confirmed for an engagement and the cost of suitable accommodation available at the point of confirmation exceeds the overnight allowance, (e.g. as a consequence of late booking, and/or a temporary shortage of nearby hotel rooms) and provided this is brought to the attention of the engager in a timely fashion, the engager shall either a) book suitable overnight accommodation directly on behalf of the player or b) offer an additional payment equivalent to the difference between the overnight allowance and the cost of suitable accommodation mutually agreed to be available locally. Where a musician is able to prove that s/he has travelled to an engagement by rail and has been unable to return to his/her normal centre of employment by 2am, and where that musician is also able to prove that s/he has paid for overnight accommodation, then the overnight stay payment, as defined above, shall be made.
Overnight Stay a) If the engagement involves an overnight stay and suitable accommodation is not provided by the Trust, or if the time of return to home base, moving base or the musician's normal centre of employment as defined in Clause 10(b) below is after 2am, a payment of £61.90 for bed and breakfast shall be made, plus a supplement of £19.90 when the engagement is within the area bounded by the M25 motorway. For the purposes of this clause, 'suitable accommodation' shall be defined as three-star or equivalent grade hotel, as available, with full breakfast, and single room accommodation as available and if required by the musician.
b) Where a musician is able to prove that s/he has travelled to an engagement by public transport and has been unable to return to his/her normal centre of employment by 2am, and where that musician is also able to prove that s/he has paid for overnight accommodation, then the overnight stay payment, as defined above, shall be made.
Overnight Stay. If a daily allowance within Sweden is payable, the bank will also pay a supplementary daily allowance of SEK 70 for a full allowance and SEK 35 for half an allowance. When an overnight stay outside the normal place of business has lasted for three consecutive months, a supplementary daily allowance shall be paid (if daily allowance is payable) amounting to SEK 49 for up to two years. If a business trip has lasted for more than two years in the same place, no further daily allowance will be paid.
Overnight Stay. 32.2.1 Arrangements for prepaid/account paid accommodation will be made throughout Tasmania and in mainland centres where appropriate.
32.2.2 Forestry Tasmania will ensure that for isolated areas appropriate alternative accommodation arrangements are made.
32.2.3 Employees may, with the prior approval of their manager, arrange their own accommodation.
32.2.4 Where an employee provides their own meals whilst staying overnight, they may be paid an allowance for each meal as follows: a. Breakfast - $14.20 b. Midday Meal - $14.20 c. Evening meal - $26.95
32.2.5 Cash advances will be made available where appropriate.
32.2.6 Any additional reasonable expenses can be approved by the Budget Centre Manager where day travel is involved.
32.2.7 Procedures for managing travel are set out in the Travel Policy which can be read on the FT intranet under Human Resource policies.
