Common use of Overtime Clause Clause in Contracts

Overtime Clause. The rate of pay shall be at the normal rate of pay for the Firefighter, except that a Captain on duty as a Firefighter, will receive the 1st Class Firefighter rate of pay. The value of each hour in pay shall be the yearly salary of the employee divided by 2184. This does not include general alarms, regular Tuesday night practice and rescue calls or persons attending Union oriented business.
