Overtime For Classified Employees. 1. A Classified Employee shall be compensated for every hour, or portion thereof, worked. Pre‐approval of overtime by the supervisor is required. Overtime may be assigned to employees when determined to be necessary by the supervisor. Work assigned by a supervisor and worked by the employee who exceeds forty (40) hours per workweek will be compensated as required by the FLSA. Employees may be compensated in pay or in compensatory time off at the rate of time and a half, at the discretion of the employee.
