The "Overtime management" clause defines how overtime work is handled within an employment or service agreement. It typically outlines the conditions under which overtime may be required, the process for obtaining approval, and the method of compensation, such as additional pay or time off in lieu. This clause ensures that both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding extra working hours, helping to prevent disputes and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Overtime management. As prescribed in 970.2201–2–2, insert the following clause:
Overtime management. The parties agree that in the operation of a tertiary care medical facility, some overtime is unavoidable. We further agree that it is desirable to minimize these occurrences. To this end, occurrences of overtime shall be monitored and addressed according to the following procedures43.
Overtime management. The parties agree that it is desirable to reduce excessive overtime. To this end, the Staffing Council will review on a monthly basis the overtime, call in (emergency call and worked on call) hours and agency hours for each unit/department.

Overtime management. 3.3.1 Party B must submit an Overtime Approval Form for necessary overtime, approved by department heads and HR. Only approved overtime qualifies for compensation.
3.3.2 Party A and Party B confirm that overtime will be recognized only if supported by the approved form. Attendance or timecard records alone are insufficient to prove overtime.
3.3.3 Party A does not approve voluntary or unapproved overtime, and such overtime will not be compensated.
