The Employee will be available all day for the guests, but may, in agreement with the guests, choose to have some private time during the day. This private time is typically taken in between activities with the guests, and after other chores such as cleaning and preparing have been completed. In the evening, The Employee is required to host the guests until they wish to have private time themselves and/or go to bed. The exception is whilst at St. Lucia Estuary, where the guests typically enjoy meals in restaurants in town, which The Employee is not obliged to join. In St. Lucia Estuary, The Employee may have private time after the activities for the day are finished. Due to the nature of the industry, daily working hours may exceed 16 hours, and as such no overtime can be claimed. It is up to The Employee to ensure he/she enjoys enough private time during days, without compromising the guests’ wishes. The Company trusts that The Employee will base its decisions for when and how much private time to have, with best interest for The Company in mind.
