Common use of Overtime Pay and Exceptions Clause in Contracts

Overtime Pay and Exceptions. Except as provided below, hours worked in excess of the normally scheduled workweek, or in excess of the normally scheduled workday, as defined in 15.01, shall be compensated for at the overtime rate of one and one-half (1½) times the rate of pay for the work performed. There shall be no compounding or "pyramiding" of overtime pay. Pay under this provision will be consistent with the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Pay under this provision will be consistent with the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Actthresholds.
