Common use of Owner’s Right to Terminate Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Right to Terminate. If Owner determines the Project lacks feasibility or for any other reason, in its sole and complete discretion, elects to forego the Project’s construction, the Owner shall have the right, upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to the Design-Builder, to terminate this Contract without cause and irrespective of whether or not Design-Builder is in default of any of its obligations hereunder.
