Common use of Packet Switching Clause in Contracts

Packet Switching. The Packet Switching UNE is defined as the basic packet switching function of routing or forwarding packets, frames, cells or other data units based on address or other routing information contained in the packets, frames, cells or other data units, and the functions that are performed by the DSLAM. VERIZON reserves the right to provide packet switching as an UNE only under the circumstances described in Rule 51.319(c)(5).
