Common use of Packet Switching Clause in Contracts

Packet Switching. Packet Switching is defined as the function of routing individual data units, frames, cells, or “packets,” based on address or other routing information contained in the packets. Packet Switching must be offered only in the limited circumstances described in 47 C.F.R. § 51.319(c)(3). If needed, requirements will be developed based upon the requirements of applicable law at the time of the request.
