Common use of PAID SICK LEAVE FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS Clause in Contracts

PAID SICK LEAVE FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS. This contract is subject to Executive Order (EO) 13706 and to the regulations issued by the Secretary of Labor pursuant thereto at 29 CFR part 13 (Establishing Paid Sick Leave for Federal Contractors). 29 CFR part 13, Appendix A, is hereby incorporated by reference, having the same force and effect as if set forth in full in this contract. Refer to xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/fdsys/pkg/FR-2016-09-30/pdf/2016-22964.pdf The Contractor shall establish a sick leave policy in full compliance with the applicable provisions of EO 13706 and 29 CFR part 13. This clause applies to all subcontracts where EO 13706 and 29 CFR part 13 apply to the prime contract. Accordingly, the Contractor is responsible for subcontractor compliance with EO 13706, 29 CFR part 13, and the requirements of this clause. The Contractor shall include this clause, including this paragraph, in all subcontracts where applicable. The Contractor may be subject to penalties for noncompliance as described in 29 CFR §13.44.
