Common use of Paid Time Off Buyback/Cash Out Clause in Contracts

Paid Time Off Buyback/Cash Out. Employees with over one (1) year of service may elect to sell back no more than once a quarter, to the County. A total of no more than one hundred (100) hours of Paid Time Off leave shall be cashed out in any single calendar year if the following condition is met:  The employee must have at least forty (40) hours of Paid Time Off leave remaining after each quarterly "cash out".
