Paid Time Off Compensation. Accrued PTO as appropriate shall be payable at the employee’s regular rate of pay on the first (1st) day of bona fide illness, injury, disability due to pregnancy or childbirth, or illness or injury of the employee or the employee’s dependent child, spouse, parent, parent-in-law, or grandparent, pursuant to state law. Employees shall be required to notify the Employer at least two (2) hours in advance of the employee’s scheduled shift if unable to report for duty on the first shift. Three (3) hours’ advance notice shall be required if the employee is unable to report for scheduled duty on the second or third shift. Failure to do so may result in loss of PTO compensation for that day.
