Common use of Painting Clause in Contracts

Painting. For one (1) year after the Date of Warranty, Seller will repaint any surfaces where the initial paint flashes or where excessive knot & wood oils bleed through the finish paint surface. Additionally, Seller will touch up the paint whenever repairs are made to drywall and interior trim. As Seller will caulk and touch-up paint once, it is recommended that such caulking and touch-up painting be addressed at the end of the one-year Limited Warranty coverage term.

As Seller will caulk , provided that all items shall be aggregated in one punch list and touch-up paint once, it is recommended that such caulking and touch-up painting be addressed repair visit at the end of the one-one year Limited Warranty coverage termcoverage. To the extent that Buyer requires immediate repair of a particular painting defect covered under this provision, there shall be a separate charge for additional visits.
