Common use of Pallbearer or Mourner Clause in Contracts

Pallbearer or Mourner. (a) Where operational requirements permit, one-half (1/2) day leave at the regular wage rate shall be granted to an Employee to attend a funeral as a mourner. (b) For an Employee acting as a pallbearer, in addition to the one-half (1/2) day provided in (a) above, the Employee shall be granted up to one-half (1/2) day, where necessary, to fulfill other functions and obligations normally expected of a pallbearer.
