PARKING AND TRANSIT. A. ASEs shall have the option to participate in parking and parking-related services that are available to and on the same basis as other similarly situated employees, including but not limited to, pre-tax and payroll deduction options.

ASEs shall have the same parking related services that are available to, and on the same basis as, full-time staff of the University. These parking related services include but are not limited to individual commuter tickets and quarterly parking permits.

Use of electric vehicle charging stations will be at no cost to the GW. GWs are expected to comply with all campus parking regulations. GWs shall be provided access to park in all on-campus lots also available to WPI employees regardless of University-scheduled academic calendar breaks. GWs shall be eligible to request night access to on-campus parking lots and requests shall not be unreasonably denied. Salaried TAs and RAs will be eligible for a waiver of the regular student parking fee.

Postdoctoral Scholars shall be eligible to participate in a campus’ parking and transit program, if any, in accordance with the provisions of each location’s program on the same basis as non- Senate academic staff. This includes but is not limited to pre-tax/payroll deduction options applicable if the scholar is eligible for such deductions due to their payroll and/or tax status.
PARKING AND TRANSIT. The Operator agrees to make available to the public the elevated parking area on the side of the building, after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all weekends. The Operator will erect a sign that informs the public that the use of its lot is at the risk of the individual. The Operator further agrees to relinquish its exclusive access to seven (7) of the thirteen (13) on-street parking it currently possesses pursuant to the easement recorded in the Registry of Deeds and record a release of the easement with respect to the seven (7) parking spaces which are identified as spaces numbered 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 on the Easement Plan of Land for recorded at in the Registry of Deeds. The Operator also agrees to install a bicycle rack, capable of holding at least six (6) bicycles at the site, that will be made available to the public and to employees as part of the City’s official bike share program.
