PARKING AND TRANSIT. ‌ A. ASEs shall have the option to participate in parking and parking-related services that are available to and on the same basis as other similarly situated employees, including but not limited to, pre-tax and payroll deduction options. B. ASEs shall have the option to participate in all transit programs that are available to and on the same basis as similarly situated employees. C. The University reserves the sole right to establish and change parking and transit rates, open and close lots and modify parking and transit conditions and regulations. The University shall provide 30 days advance written notice to the Union of any proposed change or increase in parking and transit rates. The University shall meet upon request of the Union to discuss and receive comments regarding any proposed change in parking and transit rates.

PARKING AND TRANSIT. ASEs shall have the option to participate in the on-campus parking program. ASEs shall have the same parking related services that are available to, and on the same basis as, full-time staff of the University. These parking related services include but are not limited to individual commuter tickets and quarterly parking permits.

PARKING AND TRANSIT. Postdoctoral Scholars shall be eligible to participate in a campus’ parking and transit program, if any, in accordance with the provisions of each location’s program on the same basis as non- Senate academic staff. This includes but is not limited to pre-tax/payroll deduction options applicable if the scholar is eligible for such deductions due to their payroll and/or tax status.

Employees shall be given advance notice and be provided with alternative campus parking accommodations. Section 2. The Employer agrees to provide information and procedures to employees covered under this MOU for them to obtain public transit services under the program offered to Maryland State employees.

PARKING AND TRANSIT. Section 1. GWs shall have the option to utilize on-campus parking services, including the use of electric vehicle charging stations. Use of electric vehicle charging stations will be at no cost to Section 2. Upon request, in lieu of a waiver of a WPI student parking fee noted in Section 1 above, salaried GWs shall be provided with a reimbursement of up to the value of the waiver of a semester’s student parking permit, for their purchase of a Worcester Regional Transit Authority semester pass. Section 3. The University shall make available to GWs services such as Student Night Assistance Patrol (SNAP) or similar night-time, safety University-sponsored transportation programs and daytime campus shuttles (i.e., South Village, Gateway, etc.), that it currently offers or may change from time to time as determined by Campus Police, and Valet Park at a schedule determined by Campus Police at no cost to the GW. The University shall continue the practice of providing accessible and wheelchair accessible University-sponsored transportation and shuttles for GWs. Section 4. The University shall provide reasonable notice of construction, maintenance, alternative uses of parking lots, or other occasions and/or events that may impact parking or use of University-sponsored transport options. ADA-mandates accessible parking shall be readily available at all times.
