Common use of Parking Control Clause in Contracts

Parking Control. Parked cars may interfere with the work to be performed. Therefore, Contractor is required to post, maintain, and subsequently remove, temporary "Tow Away No Parking" signs along the streets where work is to be performed; with no less than 24 hours notice prior to the start of said work. Contractor will furnish signs per sample provided by County and District. Contractor will fill in day and date for scheduled work. Contractor will be responsible for replacing any signs which are damaged or removed in order to maintain notice to the public. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all temporary "Tow Away No Parking" signs upon completion of the work in posted area. Compensation for conforming to parking control requirements will be considered as included in the compensation for the item of work involved and no additional compensation for parking control will be provided by the County and District.
