Parking Regulations. Company acknowledges, understands and concurs with the following interim regulations for parking electric foot scooters: a. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in the street. b. Users shall only park electric foot scooters upright on hard surfaces in the landscape zone of the sidewalk, beside a bicycle rack or in another area specifically designated for bicycle or electric foot scooter parking. c. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in such a manner as to block the pedestrian clear zone area of the sidewalk; any fire hydrant, call box, or other emergency facility; crosswalk; pedestrian call button; bus bench; or utility pole or box. d. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any commercial window display or access to or from any building. e. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any bicycle rack or news rack. f. Users shall park electric foot scooters on blocks without sidewalks only if the travel lane(s) and 6- foot pedestrian clear zone are not impeded. g. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in the landscape zone directly adjacent to or within the following areas, such that access is impeded: i. Bus stop clear zones - a bus stop clear zone of 40 feet long by 8 feet wide for transit stops served by only one route. When signage indicates the presence of two or more bus routes at a transit stop, an additional 40 feet of curb length per route should remain clear; ii. Loading zones; iii. Disabled parking zone; iv. Street furniture that requires pedestrian access (for example - benches, parking pay stations, bus shelters, transit information signs, etc.); v. Curb ramps; vi. Entryways; and

a. Users Shared Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in the streetstreet unless the Shared Small Vehicles are granted the right to park in specified areas within the street by the City’s Traffic Engineer.
b. Users Shared Small Vehicles shall only park electric foot scooters upright on hard surfaces be parked in a manner so as not to block the landscape zone pedestrian access route of the sidewalk, beside a bicycle rack any ADA ramp or in another area specifically designated for bicycle or electric foot scooter parking.
c. Users shall not park electric foot scooters in such a manner as to block the pedestrian clear zone area of the sidewalk; any access points, fire hydrant, call box, or other emergency facility; crosswalk; pedestrian call button; bus bench; , or utility pole or utility box.
c. Shared Small Vehicles shall be parked upright:
1. On hard surfaces in either the Frontage Zone or Furnishing Zone of the sidewalk;
2. Beside (but not impeding) bicycle racks, transit stops, or bike share stations; or
3. In another area specifically designated by the City’s Traffic Engineer for Shared Small Vehicles parking which do not inhibit access.
d. Users Shared Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any commercial window display or access to or from any buildingbuilding or access to or from off-street parking lots or garages.
e. Users Shared Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any bicycle rack or news rackrack or with other authorized users of the Right-of-way.
f. Users shall park electric foot scooters on blocks without sidewalks only if the travel lane(s) and 6- foot pedestrian clear zone are not impeded.
g. Users Shared Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in the landscape zone Furnishing Zone directly adjacent to or within the following areas, such that access is impeded:
i. Bus stop clear zones - a bus stop clear zone of 40 feet long by 8 feet wide for transit stops served by only one route. When signage indicates the presence of two or more bus routes at a transit stop, an additional 40 feet of curb length per route should remain clear;
ii1. Loading zones;
iii2. Disabled parking zonezones;
iv3. Street furniture furnishings that requires require pedestrian access (for example - – benches, parking pay stations, bus shelters, transit information signs, etc.);
v. 4. Curb ramps;
vi5. Entryways;
6. Driveways; andor
7. Portions of transit zones, including bus stops and streetcar stops, shelters, passenger waiting areas and bus layover and staging zones, which would inhibit access.
g. To the extent Company desires to park Shared Small Vehicles in areas other than the Right-of-way, Company must first obtain permission from the applicable property owner and shall communicate the right to park at that location to Riders.

Parking Regulations. Company acknowledges, understands acknowledges and concurs agrees that Company is solely responsible for its Small Vehicles and ensuring they are in compliance with the restrictions on parking of Small Vehicles in Parking Zones as designated by MU. MU reserves the right to update the list of Parking Zones without advance notice and the Company is responsible for incorporating this updates in their program within three (3) business days after notification by MU. The following interim regulations general guidelines are provided for parking electric foot scootersreference only:

e. Users iv. Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any bicycle rack or news rack.

If parked on a transit stop, then Small Vehicles shall be parked in a manner that does not impede on the ADA minimum standards for access to the bus, including a clear length of 96 inches minimum and a clear width of 60 inches.
iv. No Small Vehicle may be parked in a manner that obstructs a minimum width of forty-eight (48) inches of clear space on the sidewalk except in the Downtown Columbia M-DT district (“M-DT district”). Within the M-DT district, no Small Vehicle may be parked in a manner that obstructs a minimum width of sixty (60) inches of clear space on the sidewalk.
v. Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any commercial window display or access to or from any buildingbuilding or access to or from off-street parking lots or garages.
e. Users vi. Small Vehicles shall not park electric foot scooters be parked in such a manner as to impede or interfere with the reasonable use of any bicycle rack or news rack.

To the extent Company desires to park Small Vehicles on city property other than right-of-way, Company must first obtain written consent granting the right to do so from the City or such other department or agency of the City who has authority to grant such rights.
