Part-Time to Full-Time. A teacher with a part-time assignment who, prior to March 31, requests a full- time assignment commencing the following school year, will be treated as a full- time teacher for purposes of staffing, and be given a full-time assignment, subject to the surplus and lay-off procedures in Article 6.
