PARTICIPATING STUDENTS. 5.1 A SCHOOL DISTRICT student enrolled in CCAP Agreement Courses shall not be assessed any fee that is prohibited by Education Code sections 49011. (Ed. Code, § 76004, subd. (f).) MPCCD shall exempt Special Part-Time Students participating in CCAP Agreement Courses from the fee requirements in Education Code sections 76060.5, 76223, 76300, 76350, and 79121. (Ed. (q).) 5.2 The total cost of books and instructional materials for SCHOOL DISTRICT students who enroll in a COLLEGE course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be specified in the CCAP Agreement Appendix. Costs will be borne by SCHOOL DISTRICT. 5.3 Participating Students must meet all MPCCD prerequisite requirements as established by the MPCCD and stated in the COLLEGE catalog before enrolling in a course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement. 5.4 Grades earned by students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be posted on the official COLLEGE transcript. Students may submit a request for Pass/No Pass if the course is designated as such in the COLLEGE catalog. 5.5 Students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be directed to the official catalog of the COLLEGE for information regarding applicable policies and procedures. 5.6 Students enrolled in COLLEGE courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be eligible for student support services, which shall be available to them at the COLLEGE or through the SCHOOL DISTRICT. COLLEGE shall ensure that student support services, including admissions and records, counseling and guidance, assistance with assessment and placement, and tutoring are available to Participating Students at the COLLEGE. SCHOOL DISTRICT shall ensure that support services, including counseling and guidance, and assistance with assessment and placement are available to students at the SCHOOL DISTRICT. 5.7 The SCHOOL DISTRICT and MPCCD hereby represent and warrant that they will satisfy their respective obligations pursuant to state and federal law regarding students with disabilities who enroll in CCAP Agreement Courses. 5.8 Students who withdraw from courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will not receive COLLEGE credit. Students must comply with, and submit appropriate information/paperwork, by all published deadlines. Transcripts will be annotated according to COLLEGE policy. 5.9 A course dropped within the MPCCD drop “without a W” deadline will not appear on the SCHOOL DISTRICT or the COLLEGE transcript.

The COLLEGE will ensure, whenever possible, textbooks to remain the same throughout the term of the CCAP agreement. Both SCHOOL DISTRICT and COLLEGE will pursue methods of keeping textbook costs down and will seek additional funding sources including grants to cover textbook costs. 5.3 6.3. Participating Students students must meet all MPCCD Napa Valley College prerequisite requirements as established by the MPCCD college and as stated in the COLLEGE Napa Valley College catalog before enrolling in a course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement. 5.4 6.4. Grades earned by students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be posted on the official COLLEGE Napa Valley College transcript. Students may submit a request for Pass/No Pass if the course is designated as such in the COLLEGE Napa Valley College catalog. 5.5 6.5. Students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be directed to the official catalog of the COLLEGE Napa Valley College for information regarding applicable policies and procedures. 5.6 6.6. Students enrolled in COLLEGE Napa Valley College courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be eligible for student support services, which shall be available to them at the COLLEGE college or through the SCHOOL DISTRICT. COLLEGE Napa Valley College shall ensure that student support services, including admissions and records, counseling and guidance, assistance with assessment and placement, and tutoring are available to Participating Students participating students at the COLLEGEcollege. Students may submit a request for Pass/No Pass if the course is designated as such in the COLLEGE catalog. 5.5 Students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be directed to the official catalog of the COLLEGE for information regarding applicable policies and procedures. 5.6 Students enrolled in COLLEGE courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be eligible for student support services, which shall be available to them at the COLLEGE or through the SCHOOL DISTRICT. COLLEGE shall ensure that student support services, including admissions and records, counseling and guidance, assistance with assessment and placement, and tutoring are available to Participating Students participating students at the COLLEGE. SCHOOL DISTRICT shall ensure that support services, including counseling and guidance, and assistance with assessment and placement are available to students at the SCHOOL DISTRICT. 5.7 The SCHOOL DISTRICT and MPCCD hereby represent and warrant that they will satisfy their respective obligations pursuant to state and federal law regarding students with disabilities who enroll in CCAP Agreement Courses. 5.8 Students who withdraw from courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will not receive COLLEGE credit. Students must comply with, and submit appropriate information/paperwork, by all published deadlines. Transcripts will be annotated according to COLLEGE policy. 5.9 5.8 A course dropped within the MPCCD 4CD drop “without a W” deadline will not appear on the SCHOOL DISTRICT or the COLLEGE transcript.

The COLLEGE will ensure, whenever possible, textbooks to remain the same throughout the term of the CCAP Agreement Appendixagreement. Costs Both NVUSD and COLLEGE will be borne by SCHOOL DISTRICTpursue methods of keeping textbook costs down and will seek additional funding sources including grants to cover textbook costs. 5.3 6.3. COLLEGE NVCCD shall ensure that student support services, including admissions and records, counseling and guidance, assistance with assessment and placement, and tutoring are available to Participating Students participating students at the COLLEGEcollege. Students requiring reasonable accommodations for COLLEGE courses offered at NVUSD as part of this CCAP Agreement Courseswill receive services through NVUSD. PARTICIPATING STUDENTS. 5.1 A SCHOOL DISTRICT 5.1. TUHSD shall determine the ability of students to benefit from courses in this Agreement. Criteria shall be based on academic readiness and the alignment of course content to student learning, educational goals, and career goals. Students participating in the program will satisfy appropriate requirements and/or prerequisites required for CCAPP courses. 5.2. Eligible students may include underserved students, those from groups underrepresented in higher education, those seeking a career technical education credential or certificate, those who may not already be college bound, and those who are seeking advanced studies while in high school. 5.3. High school students enrolled at a community college as special part-time students participating in a CCAP Agreement may enroll in up to a maximum of 15 units per term per as long as the units constitute no more than four community college courses per term, are part of an academic program that is part of this Agreement, and are designed to award students with both a high school diploma and an associate degree or certificate or a credential. (Ed Code§ 76004(p)). 5.4. High school students enrolled in CCAP courses offered through this Agreement Courses classified as a special part-time (WKCCD) student shall be exempt from community college fee requirements including student representation fee, nonresident tuition fees with appropriate documentation, transcript fees, course enrollment fees, student health and center fees, apprenticeship course fees, and child development center fees. (Ed Code § 76004(q)). 5.5. High school students enrolled in a course offered through this Agreement shall not be assessed any fee that is prohibited by Education Code sections 49011. (Ed. Code§ 49010, § 76004including textbooks, subd. (f).) MPCCD shall exempt Special Part-Time Students participating in CCAP Agreement Courses from the fee requirements in Education Code sections 76060.5supplies, 76223, 76300, 76350materials, and 79121. (Ed. Code, § 76004, subd. (q).) 5.2 The total cost of books and instructional materials for SCHOOL DISTRICT students who enroll in a COLLEGE course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be specified equipment needed to participate in the CCAP Agreement Appendix. Costs will be borne by SCHOOL DISTRICTcourse. 5.3 Participating 5.6. Students must meet all MPCCD prerequisite requirements as established by the MPCCD and stated in the COLLEGE catalog before enrolling in a course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement. 5.4 Grades earned by students enrolled in WKCCD courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will at the TUHSD shall be posted held to the same standards of achievement, grading, methods of assessment (e.g., papers, portfolios, quizzes, labs, etc.), and behavioral standards (Exhibit "A" Student Code of Conduct), as those expected of students in courses taught on the official COLLEGE transcriptWKCCD campus and the TUHSD campus. Both parties will work together in resolving behavioral issues. Students may submit a request be dropped for Pass/No Pass if the course is designated academic or disciplinary reasons as such outlined in the COLLEGE catalogTC Student Handbook. 5.5 5.7. Students enrolled in WKCCD courses must follow WKCCD's process when requesting an official WKCCD transcript. 5.8. Students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be directed to the official WKCCD catalog of the COLLEGE for information regarding applicable policies and procedures. 5.6 5.9. Students enrolled in COLLEGE courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be eligible are responsible for student support services, which shall be available adhering to them at the COLLEGE or through the SCHOOL DISTRICT. COLLEGE shall ensure that student support services, including admissions drop dates and records, counseling deadlines for enrollment and guidance, assistance with assessment and placement, and tutoring are available to Participating Students at the COLLEGE. SCHOOL DISTRICT EAROP shall ensure that support services, including counseling and guidance, and assistance with assessment and placement are available to students at the SCHOOL DISTRICTEAROP. 5.7 The SCHOOL DISTRICT and MPCCD hereby represent and warrant that they will satisfy their respective obligations pursuant to state and federal law regarding students with disabilities who enroll in CCAP Agreement Courses. 5.8 5.6 Students who withdraw from courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will not receive COLLEGE Xxxxxx College credit. Students must comply with, and submit appropriate information/paperwork, by all published deadlines. Costs will be borne by SCHOOL DISTRICT. 5.3 Unless otherwise provided for in Appendix A, SCHOOL DISTRICT will furnish, at their own expense, all books, instructional materials, specialized equipment, and other necessary equipment for all students. The PARTIES agree that such equipment and materials are the sole property of SCHOOL DISTRICT. COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT policies may be utilized as appropriate should an individual student damage or fail to return such equipment or materials. SCHOOL DISTRICT shall determine the type, make, and model or all equipment and materials to be used during each course. 5.4 Students must first obtain approval from their Counselor and Principal through the SCHOOL DISTRICT before enrolling in a course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement. Students must also submit written and signed parental or guardian consent to both PARTIES to participate and enroll in CCAP Agreement Courses. 5.5 Participating Students students must meet all MPCCD COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT prerequisite requirements as established by the MPCCD COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT and stated in the COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT catalog before enrolling in a course offered as part of this CCAP Agreement. 5.4 5.6 Grades earned by students enrolled in courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement will be posted on the official COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT transcript. A course dropped after the COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT withdrawal deadline will appear as a “W” on the COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT transcript. 5.10 Both COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT and SCHOOL DISTRICT will provide ancillary and support services for students (e.g. Counseling and Guidance, Placement Assistance, Assessment, and Tutoring.)
