PARTIES AND THEIR REPRESENTATION. 2.1. The Parties concerned include: - CERN as Host Laboratory, hereinafter referred to as "CERN as Host" (or simply "CERN") - in this connection, the "CERN site" refers to all parts of CERN's fenced-in territory and all of its underground works, - the Institutions responsible for the research teams taking part in the experiments and forming the Collaborating Institutions, hereinafter collectively referred to as the Collaboration. CERN may be a Collaborating Institution as well as Host Laboratory.
