Common use of Parties; Independent Contractor Clause in Contracts

This Agreement is binding upon and inures to the benefit of the parties and their respective heirs, administrators, representatives, and permitted successors and assigns. In providing Services to Merchant, Chase Paymentech will not be acting in the capacity of agent, partner, or joint venturer; Chase Paymentech is acting solely as an independent contractor.
