PARTNERSHIP for SAFE WATER. The OS were written to provide “Allentown Standards” which essentially mirror the performance standards required by the American Water Works Association’s Partnership for Safe Water. The Partnership promotes the optimization of operations to produce drinking water quality to much higher standards than required under state or federal laws. TURBIDITY - The more stringent turbidity standards require LCA to conduct a significant amount of sampling, rigorously oversee operations (particularly filtration), and complete required reporting obligations. LCA has complied with all the requirements of the OS. Turbidity CONTAMINANT TESTING - Nearly 100 chemicals, called Primary Contaminants, must be tested on an annual basis per Pennsylvania Code Title 25 and Environmental Protection, Chapter 109 Safe Drinking Water. No maximum contaminant levels were exceeded in 2020. Information about water quality is supplied to all customers in the annual Consumer Confidence Report.

PARTNERSHIP for SAFE WATER. During the public hearing on the Lease Concession, concern was expressed that drinking water quality might suffer under the control of the selected bidder. The OS were written to provide “Allentown Standards” which essentially mirror the performance standards required by the American Water Works Association’s Partnership for Safe Water. The Partnership promotes the optimization of operations to produce drinking water quality to much higher standards than required under state or federal laws. PARTNERSHIP for SAFE WATER. Optimization Goals‌ The City’s plant has been a Partnership for Safe Water Phase III plant in good standing for approximately five (5) years. A Partnership for Safe Water Phase III plant in good standing represents a facility operated to meet the water quality management aspects of this standard as they pertain to particulate removal and disinfection. The supply of high-quality water is of great importance to the City. The City has given priority to optimized WTP process operations and finished water quality, resulting in achieving and maintaining Partnership Phase III status. The Concessionaire shall maintain good standing as a Partnership for Safe Water Phase III facility or achieve good standing as a Phase IV facility. The Concessionaire shall submit Partnership for Safe Water reports to the City annually to demonstrate compliance with these requirements. Failure to maintain good standing within the Partnership for Safe Water program and/or report to the City annually may result in assessment of penalties by the City in accordance with the Agreement.

  • Partnership Working 7.1 Partnerships will be supported by local authorities on four levels between:

  • Provision for Generation Compensation Grid unavailability in a contract year as defined in the PPA: (only period from 8 am to 6 pm to be counted): Generation Loss = [(Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year) × (number of hours of grid unavailability during the Contract Year)] Where, Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year (kWh) = Total generation in the Contract Year (kWh) ÷ Total hours of generation in the Contract Year.   • Required Coverages For Generation Resources Of 20 Megawatts Or Less Each Constructing Entity shall maintain the types of insurance as described in section 11.1 paragraphs (a) through (e) above in an amount sufficient to insure against all reasonably foreseeable direct liabilities given the size and nature of the generating equipment being interconnected, the interconnection itself, and the characteristics of the system to which the interconnection is made. Additional insurance may be required by the Interconnection Customer, as a function of owning and operating a Generating Facility. All insurance shall be procured from insurance companies rated “A-,” VII or better by AM Best and authorized to do business in a state or states in which the Interconnection Facilities are located. Failure to maintain required insurance shall be a Breach of the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement.

  • Independent Contractor; No Partnership; No Agency; No Utility Services 15.1 Company and Developer shall be independent contractors. This Agreement shall not be interpreted or construed to create an association, joint venture, agency relationship, or partnership between the Parties or to impose any partnership obligation or partnership liability upon any Party. No Party shall have any right, power or authority to enter into any agreement or undertaking for, or act on behalf of, or to act as or be an agent or representative of, or to otherwise bind, the other Party. This Agreement is not an agreement to provide or take utility services of any kind, including, without limitation, interconnection or other electric transmission services.

  • Allocation and use of scarce resources Any procedures for the allocation and use of scarce resources, including frequencies, numbers and rights of way, will be carried out in an objective, timely, transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The current state of allocated frequency bands will be made publicly available, but detailed identification of frequencies allocated for specific government uses is not required.

  • Company Formation The Company has been formed as a limited liability company under and pursuant to the Act. The Managers shall file the Certificate and all other such instruments or documents and shall do or cause to be done all such filing, recording, or other acts, as may be necessary or appropriate from time to time to comply with the requirements of law for the formation and/or operation of a limited liability company in the State of Delaware. The Managers may also direct that the Company be registered or qualified to do business in other jurisdictions.
