Patrol Area. The primary area for patrol by Contractor is the Upper Xxxxxxxxx river area above Canyon Lake and Comal County boat ramps around Canyon Lake. Secondary patrol areas may be added by mutual consent of WORD and Precinct 4 Constable to include any area within WORD's boundaries.

  • Control Area An electric power system or combination of electric power systems to which a common automatic generation control scheme is applied in order to: (1) match, at all times, the power output of the generators within the electric power system(s) and capacity and energy purchased from entities outside the electric power system(s), with the load within the electric power system(s); (2) maintain scheduled interchange with other Control Areas, within the limits of Good Utility Practice; (3) maintain the frequency of the electric power system(s) within reasonable limits in accordance with Good Utility Practice; and (4) provide sufficient generating capacity to maintain operating reserves in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Building Access The authorized representatives of the Union shall upon request have access to the District’s premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of adjusting grievances, investigating working conditions, or ascertaining that provisions of this Agreement are being adhered to; provided the representatives check in with the front office, following school protocol to receive a visitor’s badge, they do not interfere with employees in the performance of their duties. The Union shall furnish the District with the names of its authorized representatives.

  • Space The Space shall refer to that part of the Premises to which the Government has exclusive use, such as Office Area, or other type of Space. Parking areas to which the Government has rights under this Lease are not included in the Space.

  • Service Area (a) SORACOM shall provide the SORACOM Air Global Service within the area designated on the web site of SORACOM (the “Service Area”), provided, that, the Service Area may be different if stated otherwise as specified by SORACOM separately. However, within the Service Area, you may not use the SORACOM Air Global Service in places where transmissions are difficult to send or receive. (b) The parties of this Agreement acknowledge that there may be countries or locations within which SORACOM may be restricted from providing the SORACOM Air Global Service due to applicable laws, regulations, decisions, rules or orders (“Restrictions”). During the Term, SORACOM will use reasonable efforts to monitor whether there are any such Restrictions. SORACOM may in its sole discretion and at any time, suspend, discontinue, limit, or modify the SORACOM Air Global Service or impose additional requirements on the provision of the SORACOM Air Global Service, as may be reasonably required to comply with any such Restrictions. (c) In no event will SORACOM be required to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service in countries or locations, or in a manner that would be in violation of the Restrictions and its failure to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service due to the Restrictions will not be deemed to be a breach of its obligations under this Agreement. (d) In the event that any Restriction, or any change in applicable law, regulation, decision, rule or order materially or adversely affects the delivery of the SORACOM Air Global Service (including the economic viability thereof), SORACOM will notify Subscribers in writing and the parties will negotiate in good faith regarding changes to this Agreement. If the parties cannot reach agreement within 30 days after notification from SORACOM requesting renegotiation, SORACOM may terminate the Agreement upon 30 days’ written notice to the Subscriber.

  • Office Space All faculty members teaching one-half time or more shall be provided with office space on the campus where the majority of their courses are taught. Further, the Employer will, upon the request of a faculty member, complete Income Tax Form No.T2200 (Declaration of Employment Conditions - Office or Employment Expense).

  • Building Services Labor Law Article 9 applies to Contracts for building service work over $1,500 with a public agency, that: (i) involve the care or maintenance of an existing building, or (ii) involve the transportation of office furniture or equipment to or from such building, or (iii) involve the transportation and delivery of fossil fuel to such building, and (iv) the principal purpose of which is to furnish services through use of building service employees.

  • Service Areas HHSC authorizes the MA Dual SNP to add the MA Product to Texas service areas that are not identified in Attachment C, Proposed MA Product Service Areas, provided it receives prior CMS approval and complies with the notice requirements specified in this Agreement.

  • Terminal Pay Any employee at normal retirement or his/her beneficiary if service is terminated by death, shall be provided terminal pay. Such terminal pay shall not exceed an amount determined as follows: 1. During the first three (3) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 35 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 35 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 2. During the fourth (4th) through sixth (6th) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 40 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 40 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 3. During the seventh (7th) through ninth (9th) years of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 45 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 45 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 4. During the tenth (10th) through the twelfth (12th) year of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by 50 percent multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned times 50 percent times the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned after July 1, 1994. 5. During and after the thirteenth (13th) year of service: a. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay on July 1, 1994, multiplied by the number of unused sick leave days held on July 1, 1994. b. The affected employee’s daily rate of pay at the time sick leave is earned* multiplied by the number of days of accumulated sick leave earned. 6. No employee who meets the eligibility requirements listed above may receive any compensation for sick leave payments unless they sign and execute the Payment of Sick Leave Upon Retirement Agreement provided by the Superintendent. This Agreement requires the retiring Board employee to seek, accept, and cash the first retirement benefit check issued by the Florida Retirement System. The employee must qualify for “normal retirement” which under this policy shall mean retirement under plan A, B, C, D, E under the Florida Retirement System or any other plan established by the Legislature with either full or reduced benefits as provided by law. Normal retirement shall not be interpreted to include disability retirement. *Note: “At the time sick leave is earned” shall be interpreted to mean the value of sick leave at the end of each school year or at the time the affected employee retires, whichever comes first.
