PAY AND ADMINISTRATION. An employee is entitled to be paid for services rendered at the pay specified in Appendix "A" for the classificationof the positionto which the employee is appointed if the classification coincides with the employee's certificate or letter of appointment. In to and notwithstanding GI (a), the Corporation may institute an Incentive Pay Plan, as from time to time determined by the Board of Directors. Where a pay increment and a pay revision are affected on the same date, the pay increment shall be applied first and the resulting rate shall be revised in accordance with the pay revision. When an employee is required by the Corporation to substantially perform the duties of a higher classification level in an acting capacity and those duties for at least eight (8) consecutive days, the employee shall be paid acting pay calculated from the date on which commenced to act as if had been appointed to that higher classification levelfor the period in which acts. Rate of on Level If a position is reclassifiedto a level having a higher attainable maximum rate of pay. the new rate of pay shall be determined by applying the promotion or transfer rules unless specified in the collective agreement or pay plan.
