Notice of Job Vacancies. The Foundation shall make best efforts to post on its web site vacancy announcements for all full-time and part-time A positions in this bargaining unit. The Foundation may also use its website to post vacancy announcements for part-time B positions in this bargaining unit.
Notice of Job Vacancies. (a) The Employer shall post all notices of vacancy of any bargaining unit job for consideration by any displaced employees for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the later of the expiry of the notice period or the date of the notice of displacement.
(b) Notices of vacancy, pursuant to this Article, shall be posted on a secure web site requiring login access. Each displaced employee shall receive a personal password allowing access to the website for the twenty-four (24) month period. The Employer shall, for any employee who, at the beginning of their recall period as defined in Article 22.9(a), request to receive notice by regular mail, send such notice to the last address on record with the Employer.
(c) The Employer is not required to give notice of layoff at the conclusion of temporary employment. Periods of temporary employment shall not reduce or extend the period of recall.
Notice of Job Vacancies. (a) An employee on the recall list shall be notified by the Corporation of every available vacancy at a similar or lower level, by registered mail or commercial courier service, at the last address filed with the Human Resources. A copy of such notice(s) shall be provided to the representative of the bargaining agent.
(b) An employee may decline to accept a vacancy in a determinate position without losing rights under this Article. An employee who accepts a vacancy in a determinate position will retain the right to receive recall notice to any indeterminate vacancy that may arise.
(c) An employee recalled to work in a different classification from which he/she was laid-off shall have the right to return to the position held prior to the lay-off should the position be reinstated. E5.13 Application This Article applies to indeterminate employees only.

(b) An employee may bid on vacant positions which may involve a promotion, lateral transfer, or a lower classification.

For a period of two (2) calendar years from the effective date of the layoff the employee will be notified of job vacancies at the University and, if interested, shall be granted interviews for appointment to vacancies in the classification in which the employee was laid off, any lower classification in that job series, any classification for which the employee has completed an original probationary period, or any other position vacancy for which the employee meets the minimum qualifications.

Employees may apply for the position in writing to the Plant Manager within one (1) week. Consideration of successful applicants shall be in accordance with Clause 9.08. After successfully posting to a higher rated job, an employee may not post to a lower rated job for six (6) months.
