Pay Following Demotion. An employee involuntarily demoted to a lower-paid classification shall be assigned to a step in the new pay range recommended by the Chief of Police and approved by the City Manager. An employee voluntarily demoted shall be paid at the step of the new pay range closest to the employee's base pay in the higher-paid classification, but not exceeding the maximum step in the range.

Pay Following Demotion. In the case of the demotion of any employee in the classified service to a class with a lower maximum salary, such employee shall be assigned to a salary step in the lower pay range which is as follows:

  • Amendment; Termination (a) This Addendum (including the Schedules hereto) may not be amended without the prior written consent of the Majority Japan Local Currency Banks hereunder and subject to the provisions of Section 8.01 of the Credit Agreement.
