Pay for Permanent Transfers. 19.2.1 “An employee who is promoted to a higher classification will receive the pay rate respective to their Tier level.” 19.2.2 When an employee is permanently transferred to a classification with a lower stated maximum rate than the job which they formerly occupied, they shall receive the same rate as they were formerly being paid but not to exceed the maximum of the classification to which they are transferred.
