Paycheck and Payroll Errors. 35 Any payroll error resulting in an underpayment to an employee shall be corrected. If a payroll error 36 occurs resulting in an overpayment to an employee, the District shall notify the employee, reach an 37 agreement on the amount of the overpayment, and agree upon how the District shall recover the 38 overpayment. (For example, if the overpayment is five percent or less of the employee’s next net 39 paycheck [as corrected prospectively], the agreement could provide that the total overpayment 40 would be recovered equally from the next two paychecks.
