UNION DUES CHECK OFF The Employer agrees to deduct in advance, each week, the union dues, from the pay of each employee who authorizes the Employer to do so. The Union shall notify the Employer in writing, of the amount of such dues or any change in the amount of such dues. Any change in deduction shall become effective at the begin- ning of the pay period immediately following a two (2) week delay after the Employer receives such written notice of change from the Union. The Employer will require the authorization from such employees to be in writing on a form provided by the Union. A list of all employees, along with their respective Social Insurance Number and amount deducted for each week (ending on Saturdays), shall be sent to the Local Union along with the remittance for the total amounts checked off. The Local Union office shall receive the above remittance and the list of employees within the first fifteen (15) days of the fol- lowing month for the previous month, using the same cut-off date as applied to the Pension, Welfare and Education Plans.
