Common use of Payment for Work in Excess of Contracted Days Clause in Contracts

Payment for Work in Excess of Contracted Days. If a teacher is required to teach in excess of one hundred eighty-three (183) days, the teacher will be paid at the rate of one one-hundred eighty-three (1/183) of the current salary for each day worked. This formula does not apply to Chapter 1 teachers, summer school teachers, evening education teachers or other similarly employed staff.
