Common use of Payment of Sick Leave upon Retirement and/or Termination Clause in Contracts

Payment of Sick Leave upon Retirement and/or Termination. (a) After three (3) years of service, pay to him/her in cash an amount equal to one-half (1/2) of his/her unused sick leave entitlement at his/her current rate of pay. (b) After five (5) years of service, pay to him/her in cash an amount equal to three-quarters (3/4) of his/her unused sick leave entitlement at his/her current rate of pay.
