Common use of Payments Due on Holidays Clause in Contracts

Payments Due on Holidays. If the date for making any payment or the last date for performance of any act or the exercise of any right, as provided in this Loan Agreement, shall be a legal holiday or a day on which banking institutions in the State are required or authorized by law to remain closed, such payments may be made or act performed or right exercised on the next succeeding day not a legal holiday or a day on which such banking institutions are required or authorized by law to remain closed with the same force and effect as if done on the nominal date provided in this Loan Agreement.

If the date for making any payment or the last date day for performance of any act or the exercise exercising of any right, as provided in this Loan AgreementLease, shall be a legal holiday or a day on which banking institutions in the State Lessee in which the principal business office of the Lessor or the Lessee is located are required or authorized by law to remain closed, such payments payment may be made or act performed or right exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a legal holiday or a day on which such banking institutions are required or not authorized by law to remain closed with the same force and effect as if done on the nominal date provided in this Loan AgreementLease.
