Common use of Payroll Records and Statement of Compliance Clause in Contracts

Payroll Records and Statement of Compliance. CONTRACTOR shall comply and shall cause its Subcontractors to comply with Massachusetts General Law c. 149, § 27B, which requires that a true and accurate record be kept of all persons employed on the Project for which the prevailing wage rates have been provided. CONTRACTOR and all Subcontractors shall keep these records and preserve them for a period of three years from the date of completion of this Contract. Such records shall be open to inspection by any authorized representative of DCAMM at any reasonable time, and as often as may be necessary. CONTRACTOR shall, and shall cause its Subcontractors to, submit weekly copies of their weekly payroll records to DCAMM. In addition, CONTRACTOR and each Subcontractor shall furnish to the Executive Department of Labor within fifteen (15) days after completion of its portion of the Services a signed statement in the form required by DCAMM. DCAMM, at its sole election, may require CONTRACTOR and all Subcontractors to submit such reports and documentation in electronic format.
