Peace Corps - Exchange Teaching. A leave of absence, without pay, of up to two (2) years may, upon the approval of the Superintendent, be granted to any teacher who serves in the Peace Corps in a teaching capacity or serves as an exchange teacher under an approved exchange teacher program and is a fulltime participant in either of such programs, upon return from such leave, if a position is available, the teacher will be placed on the salary schedule at the level the Bargaining Unit Member would have achieved if the Bargaining Unit Member had not been absent.
