Peer Review. Peer review shall be a committee of the organized medical staff and its makeup is a prerogative of the medical staff to be determined in the Medical Staff by-laws. In facilities with medical staffs all questions of professional competence may be referred to peer review for review and recommendation. Based on the peer review a recommendation for disciplinary action may be made.
