Pelvic Exam / Pap Test. The Pap test, also called a Pap smear, checks for changes in the cells of a woman’s cervix. The Pap test can detect infections, abnormal cervical cells, and cervical cancer. The Service Plan covers the exam and the preparation of the specimen; however, the Client will be responsible for any fees associated with a pathologist’s read and report.
