Common use of Pension Clause in Contracts

Pension. All present employees enrolled in the Hospital's Pension Plan pension plan shall maintain their enrolment in the Plan plan subject to its terms and conditions. New employees and employees employed but not yet eligible for membership in the Plan plan shall, as a condition of employment, enrol in the Plan plan when eligible in accordance with its terms and conditions. On date of hire or during appropriate orientation, the Hospital will provide full-time and part-time employees with a copy of the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) benefits booklet.

The parties agree that any surplus, credits, refunds or reimbursements excluding sick leave pension credits, under whatever name accrue to and for the benefit of the Hospital.
